These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of skated.pro and its Services. By accessing or using the Services, you ("user") agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 10 years old to use the Services. Minors (10-18) require parental/guardian consent.
You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter these Terms (or have parental/guardian consent if applicable).
We reserve the right to verify age and terminate accounts violating eligibility requirements.
2. Account Registration & Usage
Create an account to access core features (leaderboards, multiplayer battles). Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Maintain confidentiality of account credentials (username, password) and take responsibility for all activities under your account.
Account sharing, selling, or transferring to third parties is prohibited. Suspend or terminate accounts for unauthorized access or sharing.
Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Game Rules & Conduct
Prohibited conduct includes: using cheats, hacks, or exploits (unlimited tricks, invincibility); modifying game files or using third-party software; harassing or discriminating against users/moderators; posting inappropriate content; infringing on third-party intellectual property.
4. In-Game Purchases & Virtual Items
Virtual items (board customizations, trick expansions, premium parks) are licensed, not sold. No ownership rights; items are non-transferable.
All purchases are final. Refunds are granted only for technical errors (duplicate charges, undelivered items) reported within 7 days.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing, availability, or functionality of virtual items without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All Service content (game code, graphics, skate park designs, trick animations, trademarks) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of Service content without prior written permission.
You retain ownership of user-generated content (e.g., custom parks, trick videos) but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote it.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind (express or implied).
We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (loss of combo progress, account suspension, device damage) even if notified of such possibility.
Total liability to you shall not exceed $60, regardless of legal theory (contract, tort, etc.).
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for violating these Terms, prohibited conduct, or other reasons in our sole discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, and we may delete your account and associated data (subject to data retention laws).

8. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
Disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through arbitration in Venice, CA, per American Arbitration Association rules.
